The Palestinian academics complete advance rehabilitation engineering training in Slovenia

The Palestinian academics completed the 7 days training at University Rehabilitation Institute - Republic of Slovenia (URI) in Slovenia targeted 13 acadmics staff in i-CARE project. 

This intensive training focused on advance knowledage in rehabilition engineering included field visits and actual cases Furthermore, the training was rich in knowledge and skills that focus on these topics: ( Knowledge of existing rehab equip / tech (assessment tech), Orthotics / Prosthetics, Robotics and exoskeleton in PT, Assistive technologies for PT, Biomechanics / Kinesiology, Anatomy and Pathology, General Physiotherapy, Smart home technologies, Curricula management,  Soft skills / Critical thinking / Entrepreneurship/ Problem based teaching techniques / Case study approach and etc... ). 
This training as a part of work package two and it’s aimed to build the staff capacities and skills in rehabilitation engineering, and after the academics back to Gaza, they will share this knowledge and experiences with the other academics, professionals and students by conducting peer to peer training.
